Northwest Baptist Church exists for the purpose of fulfilling Christ's command in Matthew 28:19: "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." We preach The Truth here: God's Word - The Bible.
The Women’s Ministry at Northwest Baptist Church exists to support, edify, and minister to the local
church as well as the surrounding community. We seek to help women fulfill their unique core callings
and utilize their God-given roles and gifts, while creating opportunities for relational and spiritual
growth.
To carry out this objective, we focus on the following four core values:
Study – As Christians we should strive to grow spiritually and intellectually through studying
God’s word. When in session, a Bible study or book club will meet once weekly, for an hour to
an hour and a half at a time.
Service – There are plenty of opportunities for service within the church. This includes meals
for families in need, transportation, child care, Operation Christmas Child, hospital visits and
bereavement, the Fall Festival, drives for the homeless, and more.
Support through prayer – Prayer is a cornerstone of the Christian faith, and we should be
vigilant in prayer for each other, our church and community, and our nation.
Sisterhood –Sometimes we’ll just want to hang out! We provide fellowship
opportunities through craft nights, movie events, ladies’ nights out, and much more!
