Statement of Faith
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of us all, all knowing, all seeing, and all powerful.
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Divine Son of God, born of a virgin, died for the sins of the world, was buried and on the third day arose bodily from the grave, ascended unto the Father and is now interceding on behalf of every believer and will return to the earth again.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, who descended upon the Church on the day of Pentecost, who convicts and calls the lost to Christ, and empower the Church as she bears witness to the world.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and that it is the power of God unto salvation to all of those who trust in Christ.
We believe that every Christian should maintain private devotion daily, which should include Bible reading and prayer.
We believe that every Christian should bear witness to the world both verbally and visually, through holy living and personal testimony.
Northwest Baptist Church is built on the framework of Reformed theology.
